Once you’ve collected all 10 from the first Chapter head to any Vulgrim store location and sell him the pages. He gives you a key to the Forge Lands Tomb.

The Tomb for the Forge Lands is the multicolored door that’s just outside the entrance to The Lost Temple. The Death Tomb contains a variety of chests and weapons racks. Also, move the burning torch as there’s a Talisman hidden behind it. Note: You can’t get the rest in the Forge Lands until later. Return here after you’ve complete Lost Light. When you reach the chest with the Skeleton Key, turn around and wall run to a ledge. Where To Find Book Of The Dead Pages In Dead Landsīehind Ostegoth on the Eternal Throne, just to the left of the entrance for the Gilded Arena. Personally i never felt the need to use them, as the game is doesn't really need anything aside from basic combos and good dodging. After you’ve already got 1 of the items you need, you’ll go into the west door. (and 9.) You mean like move/combo upgrades? Just get them all.i remember it wasn't very hard, especially if you sell your useless items. I've seen other builds, like for example Wrath builds which focussed on stealing wrath per hit.so it really comes down to what build you're using. In the last one you get an Abyssal Armor piece (shoulder pad if i'm not mistaken).also you get an achievement if that matters to you.Įnemies are harder, but since you probably have a good build and skills it won't be too hard.īy the end of the game i used a Critical Hit build + Chaos Fangs (or Guillotine).so i focussed on Scythes. Iirc the pages are for the bone keys to open those neat vaults (Death tombs). If you like the series, then play them for sure.they're pretty quick to beat. Personally i never used any possessed item bc i felt the unique ones you get from bosses are very good already (I basically used Chaos Fangs + that Life Leech hammer till near the end of the game)ĭLC's aren't anything special in terms of story, but i did like the one where is at Earth (Belial? don't remember).the boss was pretty fun. NG+ lets you keep all the items in your inventory (items, gilt, etc) and your level and skills.everything else resets. Most decent weapons can get you through most of the game. Generally though you can use whatever you find most enjoyable. The scythes will have lifesteal from the fangs and it's very hard to die. Some say that scythes for damage and then achidnas fangs secondary are the best combo. Again, it's more variety, it doesn't hurt. The upgrades in kingdom of the dead just allow your secondary weapons to do charge attacks that are slightly stronger with a bit of timing. I don't think any are much more powerful than any others, although I think I used the dodge attack with the scythes alot. The Thane moves are mostly just for variety, combat is more fun when you have more options. The DLCs are accessed from the main menu before you load into the game. I think you get rewarded a skill point for beating the bosses too, so there's that. They have two dungeons and one boss each, some new weapon designs and a couple of legendary weapons, and their own self contained stories. Not that that really matters, you're still plenty powerful. If you get all the collectibles this playthrough then start ng+ you can get them all again and get the rewards again.īecause some of the collectibles reward skill points this is the only way to reach the maximum skill cap. You keep skills and weapons, but lose all collectibles. Here I tried one or two and I don't see much combat superiority. How should it be?Īlso what good are the secondary weapon upgrades at the world of the dead? AFAIK they cost 10k gold or 5k.Īre the basic moves you learn from Thane useful? I remember in Darksiders 1 the moves you learned from Vulgrim were pretty useful. Which should I use? I heard from someone that scythes for attack and secondary weapons for stats. Should I use my scythes for attacking always? The secondary weapons do have some improvements and can deal a lot more damage. If I do decide to start a new game+ then will the difficulty go up by one level? Is the lair of the deposed king available if I don't have any DLC?Īlso what bonuses can I possibly get if I only have 20 books of the dead pages? IIRC there are 30. Should I get that (and other legendary/unique items) now or will I lose them if I start a new game?Īlso, do I keep my weapons, items, gold, book of the dead pages and boatman coins? Something more: I did not go to any of the bonus areas after the first world, and AFAIK there is a place in the second or third world where I can get an item that enables me to collect more possessed weapons.
